The Volt Metro LS electric bike hosts exactly the same features as the standard Metro and can be folded in exactly the same way. These features include Shimano Acera 8 speed gears, SKS mudguards (front and back), pannier rack, kickstand and Spanninga lights. Upgrades to this new model include hydraulic brakes on the front and rear wheels, a sleek new suspension seat-post and an Abus frame lock mounted on the frame to lock the rear wheel. The twenty inch wheels come with stylish Kenda Kevlar lined tyres and extra thick inner tubes to minimise punctures.
 
Now comes as standard with the 250W continuous spin motor by SpinTech™ and large capacity SpinTech™ Panasonic lithium battery capable of distances in excess of up to 50 miles (depending on riding environment and levels of pedal assist). V-Wave ensures a smooth and enjoyable riding experience by managing the torque-to-speed ratio. With four different pedal assist levels riders can effortlessly accelerate to the motor's top speed of 15.5mph. The pedal assistance level can be easily set using the intuitive and ergonomically designed LCD computer located on the handle bar.
